Manhattan Award Program Honors the Achievement
MANHATTAN July 25, 2012 — The NYC Hypnotist, Marc Carlin, has been selected for the 2012 Best of Manhattan Award in the Hypnotherapy Clinics category by the Manhattan Award Program.
Each year, the Manhattan Award Program identifies companies that we believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and our community. These exceptional companies help make the Manhattan area a great place to live, work and play.
Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2012 Manhattan Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the Manhattan Award Program and data provided by third parties.

I would like to give to you a special gift for signing up and listening in to these interviews with the best of the best in the weight loss world. I am going to give you the list of the 8 golden rules that will help you to achieve the weight loss that you have wanted for so long. Just by following these 8 simple behaviors you will be assured of getting rid of the excess weight you’ve been carrying around.
I use these rules with my own weight loss clients. The hypnosis makes it easier for them to follow the rules. My clients tell me that they don’t even know they are following them, it just happens naturally, which is what we all want to happen. But you can achieve success without hypnosis if you can get yourself to just follow these eight simple behaviors. And if you do them often enough they will become habits that will seem mindless and natural for you.
So take advantage of this generous offer to you. Go to http://www.premiersummits.com and sign up to get all the free online interviews that you can listen to anywhere there is an internet connection. And I’ll provide you with the eight rules of behavior that I give to my own clients.
You might have heard about weight loss hypnotherapy, but have you heard about Gastric Band Hypnotherapy? CBS-TV News featured the story of Marc Carlin performing what they called Lap Band Hypnosis, where Marc, using hypnosis, convinces his clients’ subconscious mind that they have had the stomach altering surgery. This change in his clients’ perception helps them to feel fuller quicker.
Here’s the video of the news segment that ran on CBS-TV News at 11 PM on November 23 and then again at 6 PM on November 24, 2010.
Marc uses the program developed in the UK by the clinical hypnotherapist Sheila Granger. Sheila has reported a 95% success rate in two test trials that she ran in the UK.
Marc and Sheila are both seeing clients in their respective countries and training other hypnotists and hypnotherapists in her program around the world. Their next training is in Las Vegas Nevada on January 21-23, 2011.
If you have any questions about Gastric Band Hypnotherapy you can ask your questions in the comment boxes below.
One of the most effective ways of using hypnosis that I have found is the Gastric Band Hypnotherapy. Now you might have seen it called lap band hypnosis on CBS-TV News, or seen it referred to as hypnotherapy gastric band, or the virtual gastric band it would seem to be all based on the concept of using the imagination to create a belief in the subconscious mind that a stomach surgery has been performed. And this altered stomach will cause a changed response to how you now view your capacity to eat food.
I have been doing weight loss hypnosis for over a dozen years and have always done my best to assist my clients to get the results that they come to me for. During that time I have also had great success with smoking cessation hypnosis. And the results in that area always seemed to be greater than in the area of weight loss hypnosis. For example, because I have been continuously refining and improving my hypnosis programs, in the past two years I have had a 100% success rate with my quit smoking clients leaving my office claiming to be non smokers. That’s a fantastic result and I am very proud of it. There are those that do need additional work after they leave and that is why I do not offer a one session program. I think it is unfair to you if you are seeking assistance in stop smoking to have all that pressure on you to be finished in only one session. And my clients success rate remains extremely high even for those few who need the additional work.
Unfortunately, hypnotherapy for weight loss has not had the same great results. They were very good, but not the same level of satisfaction for me that I was seeking to achieve for my clients. That is, until now. With the hypnosis gastric band program that I am using I am getting results for my clients that rival my best stop smoking program. Both my clients and I are extremely excited by the results.
This program is based on the work of Sheila Granger, the Clinical Hypnotherapist from the UK, who I brought into the US a couple of months ago to train 24 hypnotists from across Norht America in how to use her program to help people lose weight. Sheila has been getting 95% success for her work in the UK. She has done two group trials that have gotten these high results, and she has seen hundreds of clients on an individual basis where she says she gets the same type of success.
In my own work, in the 20 clients that I have seen so far who have finished the program, I have had only 1 person not lose weight. And I am continuing to work with that client to find out what is keeping them from losing weight.
If you haven’t seen the CBS-TV News broadcast that was shown on the 11 o’clock news you can view it here:
Do you think this could work for you? What do you think would be the stumbling blocks to you personally that could prevent you from using hypnosis gastric band to retrain your mind to eat the correct amount of food for you body?

That’s right! On November 23, 2010, Marc Carlin and what CBS-TV calls Lap Band Hypnosis got profiled on the 11 O’clock news on CBS-TV. The news show sent a crew over to Marc Carlin’s Midtown East office to film an interview with him. They delved into his successful weight loss program that utilizes the hypnotic techniques where he uses his clients’ imagination to experience all the benefits of a shrinking stomach without any of the dangerous side effects of a medical surgical procedure.
This program, which Marc Carlin uses at his office at 220 E. 54th St., New York, NY 10022, was developed in the UK by clinical hypnotherapist, Sheila Granger and was introduced into the United States by Marc Carlin and Sheila Granger in October of 2010. Since then 24 hypnotists and hypnotherapists around the country have been seeing spectacular improvements in the success of their clients using weight loss hypnosis.
You can take advantage of your own virtual gastric band by calling Marc at 212 223-1832. If the number is busy, keep calling.
Recently I was asked to be interviewed by a news program and they wanted to interview one of my clients as well. They were interested in the work that I’m doing, bringing the Virtual Gastric Band process that Sheila Granger does, to the states. And being in New York, they were certainly interested in how my clients are responding to the process. Here’s a short excerpt form the long interview that was recorded.
If you are a therapist, or a hypnotist, doctor, nurse, or other professional working with overweight and obese people and would like to know how you can get training in Sheila’s Virtual Gastric Band process, you can visit Virtual Gastric Band Training Seminar to sign up for the next training in 2011.
There was recently a few TV programs broadcasting news stories about a form of mental gastric band surgeries. This is not a surgical procedure at all but a creative way of using your imagination to help your body imagine that you had the surgery. And since your body imagines that your stomach has shrunk in size, you now respond with feeling full quicker, and refusing to eat too much food.
This does seem like an impossible concept to many overweight people like yourself, that have struggled for so very long with trying to remove the excess weight. If you understand how our minds work though, it doesn’t seem so far fetched. Take for example how we respond in the present to things that we have similar experiences to in the past.
Music is something that many of us listen to regularly. And since music is something that goes in and out of style, we probably have listened to certain styles of music and particular songs when we were much younger than we are today. And the feelings and experiences that we were going through at that younger age are probably just a distant memory for us today. But very often when you listen to an old song today it can have the effect of bringing you back to the feelings, thoughts, and events of your life from long ago. So you know how very powerful your imagination is.
What about an experience that you have never had before? How can your mind create sensations that you have no prior knowledge of going through? Well, we do have certain ideas of what things would feel like, or how we would respond to certain situations based upon similar occurrences that we have gone through. We might not know how it feels to fly, since most of us I can safely say have never flown unassisted by some type of aircraft. And if you have ever seen Peter Pan, you probably dreamed that you could fly yourself. And if you used your imagination very fully, you might have been able to really feel like you were flying during that dream or daydream.
So you see, even if you have never had an experience you can still imagine what it would feel like if you did. And when you arrange to use gastric band hypnosis to help you re-gain control over your eating and develop a new healthier relationship with food, you gain a powerful ally for your weight loss.
You can get more information on how gastric band hypnosis can benefit you in your weight loss journey by calling Marc at 212 223-1832. Don’t put off another day what you can do to re-gain your control and create a healthy relationship with food.
